Bloodstained got my attention right from the start and caught me off guard with the story plot. I enjoyed this book immensely and look forward to J.C. Nicholson's next book "The Haunting of Will Ferris".

Bloodstained is a shocker. The first two chapters by J.C. Nicholson get your
attention immediately. You become a participant in a bizarre murder mystery that
can happen in any turbulent American city today. A sour economy, unchecked
illegals, drugs and dishonest cops all play a part in the novel by this gutsy writer. I
really enjoyed the book.

I just finished this book and loved it from start to finish. About half way through it
really got intense and was hard to put down. I loved the ending but was so
involved in the characters I hated to see it end. Can't wait for the next book!

Bloodstained has all the elements of an intense suspenseful story. The story
opens in a shocking murder followed by sex, drugs, illegal activities with many
surprise twists and turns. I could not put it down from start to finish. I love all
the characters and the drama which unfolds in their lives. It keeps you guessing
up to the last few pages of the book, at which point the culmination of everything
reaches a surprisingly shocking ending....

Bloodstained was a great read. Very fast paced. A real page turner.
The myriad of characters one encounters are all credible as well as mind-
boggling as are their various motives for why they do what they do. They keep
this book very much alive to the very end.

Small towns and small minds breed hatred, contempt and BIG problems.
Bloodstained is an exciting, nonstop novel filled with murder, mayhem and
mystery around every corner. This book reminds you that memories are long
and revenge is bittersweet. A real page-turner that will keep you guessing “who
dunnit?” right up to the very end!

BLOODSTAINED was one of the best books I have read in a long time. The first
few chapters capture your interest, and you are eager to uncover how the
relationships play out and what clues will be discovered along the way. I am
normally not a big fan of mystery/murder/suspense, but this book came
recommended...and I ended up reading it in only TWO days! Couldn't put it
down! Excited for the next novel from J.C. Nicholson.

J.C., you've done it again! This is by far your best! Although murder/mysteries
are not my first choice in reading, Bloodstained was well written, kept me in
suspense, and eager to find out "who dunnit". I especially liked the New
England setting of Hollister, where Bloodstained takes place, as it reminded
me of a city close to where I live. Keep on writing. Can't wait to read book #5.
